This year at Forest Fringe Gemma and James (Action Hero) are working with holistic massage therapist Blue Hesse at The Forest Café’s Sip n Snip Salon to bring Art Massages to the people of Edinburgh.

We’re going to be showing Watch Me Fall as part of the British Council Showcase in Edinburgh this year from 22nd-27th Aug at 11:45pm. Once again we’re collaborating with the brilliant Forest Fringe and also with Summerhall (a great new project in an ex veterinary school).

Clowning is Good for You

You should do a clowning course.

Why?

Because it will make you a better performer. You will be able to stand on stage without the blessed cover of a script or character. Standing as your own stupid self is really difficult. Once you can be with an audience in the way clown allows you to then it is easier to work with script and improvisation.

Your homework is to go to Holly Stoppit's clown course at the folk house:

All the political savvy of a twelve year old child.

A really stupid and wilfully self-destructive twelve year old child.

The liberal democrats sole real purpose as a party, being the third of three and utterly hamstrung by the monstrously backwards electoral system in the UK, was to introduce electoral reform.

This was their only hope.

Their only chance of becoming a powerful force and being given a chance to actually represent the views of the people who voted for them was Proportional Representation.
