Action Hero

Edinburgh has never been on the cards for us in the past because of the massive costs involved being unfeasible for a company as small as us but this year we’re going to be involved thanks to the brilliant ‘Forest Fringe’.

Action Hero are showing a work in progress of 'Watch Me Fall'at the Forest Fringe. We've been exploring the idea of the 'Daredevil'. Our obsession with those who attempt to achieve the impossible, the futility of those attempts and their inevitable fall from grace.

This week at BAC Action Hero and Tom Marshman are showing work as part of the burst festival and Lyn Garnder's Guardian blog has recommended you see both shows.

Action Hero are performing 'How to Disappear' at BAC, London on May 19th,20th and 21st at 7:00pm and 9:30pm.

For those of you who missed 'A Western' last year at Arnolfini here's another chance to catch it at this years Mayfest.

As part of the process in the development of our new show we're re-enacting Evel Knievel's infamous 1967 jump in which he shattered his pelvis and was put in a coma for 29 days.

Join us as we attempt the impossible!

As part of 'I am still your worst nightmare' at Arnolfini, Action Hero will be staging a re-enactment of Evel Knievel's most famous motorcycle jump.

Action Hero will be returning to the confines of Punchdrunk's Masque of the Red Death at BAC, London to perform their specially commissioned piece. We're hidden deep within the building so if you happen to be there on any of the dates then you'll have to look hard to find us!
