Resisence in Residence Provocations

A short while ago now, as part of our 'Residence in Residence' weekender at the Tobacco Factory on 11th and 12th September we held a series of simultaneous dsicussion events all starting with a different provocation to find a 'new way of...' Each discussion event began with a provocation written by someone working in that area, the provocations were;

new ways of developing new work by Hannah @ New work Network,
new ways of funding new work by Gary @ The institute of Art and Dissent at Home,
new ways of touring new work by Kate @ Mayfest and BOV and

Come and see the first performances of our new show Something Got a Hold of Me at Forest Fringe in Edinburgh this summer.

Something Got a Hold of Me is a performance about religious cults, charismatic leaders, power, persuasion, weakness and how everyone is really just looking for something, a little something to make them happy.

I'm presenting a series of 3 one to one shows over three days at the Forest Fringe in Edinburgh:

Day Three: Your Turn. You will be seated in an empty room. I will enter and it will be your turn to say whatever you want to me. Once you are done I will say goodbye and we can both leave.

This is a brand new show and i've never tried it out before, lets see how it works!

Day Two: The First Thing. You will come into the room, there will be a chair for you, i will have my eyes closed. Once you are seated I will open my eyes and say the first thing that comes into my head. Then you can leave.
